Philly Food

In recent years, Philadelphia has made a name for itself as far as restaurants go.  If you are ever in town for a visit, then you can't miss out on some of our great food.  A good source to help you decide in the Philadelphia Weekly.  This is a free newspaper that can be found anywhere in the city and has a pretty comprehensive listing of the area's restaurants, fast food, and coffee shops.  Here's a list of some of our favorite places.  You can check them out or venture out on your own.

Le Tipaza.  11th St. Phila.  Algerian, unique sandwiches and great pasta dishes.

Michael's Pizza.  11th St. Phila.  Our favorite local pizza joint.  We love these guys.  Try their tomato pie.

Tenth Street Pourhouse.  262 S. 10th St. Phila.  Great sandwiches with a cajun accent.

Luna Sandwich & Pizza Shop.  255 S. 10th St. Phila.  Authentic Greek food - the gyros are really good here.

Pat's King of Steaks.  1237 E. Passyunk Ave. Phila.  The name says it all.

Jim's Steaks.  400 South St. Phila.  Go for the whiz, and don't forget the hot sauce.
