I recently received my undergraduate degree in microbiology and biochemistry at Duquesne University in dahn tahn Pittsburgh. I completed my undergraduate research in Dr. Joseph McCormick's lab studying cell division in the Gram positive, filamentous soil bacterium  Streptomyces coelicolor. I miss you, McCormick Lab!

Now, I'm the new technician here at the Institute. After making the transition to eukaryotes, I am busy learning lots of new techniques. I will continue learning even more in one of Jefferson's graduate programs this Spring.
